Young Professionals Green Spaces Initiative (YPGSI) is a non-profit  organization that focuses on mitigating the effects of climate change  while enhancing economic empowerment in communities through  sustainable practices.

We believe that by engaging a team of professionals and partnering with  communities, we can create a sustainable future that benefits everyone.  We are committed to empowering women and youth, and we believe  they play a vital role in achieving our goals.

At YPGSI, we are passionate about making the sustainable development  agenda real. We believe that through our efforts, we can create a world  where communities are empowered, the environment is protected, and  economies thrive. We are in the process of reducing carbon dioxide emissions through the use of low-carbon power sources, energy efficiency, and sustainable practices

Advocacy and capacity building

Advocacy raises awareness and influences policy for decarbonization, while capacity building develops skills and resources to implement and sustain these efforts.

Economic empowerment

Creating job opportunities, fostering innovation, and supporting sustainable businesses, leading to a resilient and inclusive economy.

Ecosystem restoration

We aim to repair and renew natural habitats, enhancing biodiversity, improving ecosystem services, and mitigating climate change impacts.

  1. Through the use of renewable energy in the health sector.
  2. We are aiming to reduce carbon emission through planting of trees which sequent carbon from the atmosphere.

We are aiming to transform lives by encouraging farmers and households to plant fruit trees. The sell of fruits is a profitable venture which will transform their economic fortunes.

Empowering students to actively participate in conserving the environment.

Through schools, we can plant a minimum of 50 trees and maximum of 500 trees depending on the size of the schools. This creates an opportunity for students to actively participate in environment conservation.
